Welcome to
Work In My Heels Networking Group (WIMH) -
where you can finally exhale.
We understand that professional life can be challenging, especially for women navigating systemic barriers or striving for leadership roles. We allow women an opportunity to escape the need to perform (deadlines, quotas, evaluations, perfection, correction, etc.) and the pressure of always figuring things out on their own. WIMH exists as a space to exhale, connect, and recharge—where your experiences are valued, your skills are strengthened, and your ambitions are supported.
Women in our networking community are able to:
- Release stress
- Be honest without consequences
- Talk through frustrations instead of holding them in
- Learn that your challenges are shared by many
- Realize that your feelings are normal
- Understand that they are not the problem, but their environment or the situation
- Obtain tips, tools and strategies to navigate challenges
- Get career advice grounded in real experience
