Why We Exist
Work in my heels was formed by a group of friends with diverse occupations who enjoy hanging out. While spending time together, we realized we often face similar challenges in our personal and professional lives. Therefore, we decided to form a networking group to discuss our professional issues and support each other.
Our Name
Our name is a reflection of women and their career accomplishments and challenges. It represents the idea of finding strength to push through no matter how complicated or uncomfortable our jobs become. Our name describe women who have work-related stories to tell and insight to share. We've all had several moments when we wanted to tell someone else to "walk in my shoes" or express how hard we've worked in our heels.
